Easy candied pecans with only FOUR ingredients!!
They come together in five minutes. So easy!
Here’s what you’ll need:
-stainless steel pan
-wooden spoon
-cookie sheet lined w/parchment paper
-pecans
-maple syrup
-salt
-cinnamon
That’s it! For a fun flavor mix up you can add a splash of bourbon while the syrup is boiling. It’ll cook the alcohol out but leave the flavor!
Directions:
1. Pour 1 cup of maple syrup into your pan and turn the stove onto medium high. Bring the syrup to a boil.
2. Add 2 heaping cups of pecans to the syrup. Start stirring. When the syrup no longer pools in the bottom of the pan sprinkle in 1 Tablespoon of cinnamon and a sprinkle of salt.
3. Keep stirring until the maple syrup has dried onto the pecans. Pour pecans out onto the lined cookie sheets to let them cool. Then enjoy!
4. Once cooled I put them into a mason jar. I’m sure they’d stay good for at least a week but they never last that long!😂
