These easy candied pecans come together in just five minutes using only four simple ingredients. Made with real maple syrup and pantry staples, they’re perfectly sweet, lightly spiced, and completely irresistible. Great for snacking, topping salads, or gifting in a cute little jar — if they last that long.
Ingredients
Pecans
Maple Syrup
Salt
Cinnamon
Directions
- Pour 1 cup of maple syrup into your pan and turn the stove onto medium high. Bring the syrup to a boil.
- Add 2 heaping cups of pecans to the syrup. Start stirring. When the syrup no longer pools in the bottom of the pan sprinkle in 1 Tablespoon of cinnamon and a sprinkle of salt.
- Keep stirring until the maple syrup has dried onto the pecans. Pour pecans out onto the lined cookie sheets to let them cool. Then enjoy!
Once cooled I put them into a mason jar. I’m sure they’d stay good for at least a week but they never last that long!
Recipe Note
I think these would make the best neighbor gifts. Put them in a little jar and make them cute with a piece of fabric over the lid, add a ribbon and a tag, and voila! Easy, cute, and DELICIOUS!!
I also have the entire process saved to a highlight on my Instagram profile.
